DVMP Pro is a specialised AVCHD, HDV & DV media player,
a set of
professional tools, and a DV Capture module.
Plays video files captured from an AVCHD, HDV or DV camcorder and displays the
time stamp
that was stored in the hidden metadata area of the file when the recording was originally shot. It also displays the timecode,
user bits, and exposure settings such as iris/aperture,
shutter speed, gain, image stabilizer and white balance,
and GPS coordinates for supported camcorders - all displayed with frame accuracy as you
play or frame-step through your AVCHD, HDV or DV file. It also works for
standard definition MOD files, and files copied from many Sony HDD and
DVD camcorders.
The burn-in tool lets you time stamp AVCHD, HDV and DV video. This stamps the
recording date and time (also known as datacode or datecode) into the visible area of each frame. You choose
the appearance of the time stamp. You can set the format, font, size, position and language of the time stamp.
You can also choose to burn-in timecode, user-bits, iris, shutter speed,
etc. Other tools include a powerful file splitter which splits
your DV AVI file into scenes using a range of triggers, and a DV metadata
editor which can modify timecode, DV time stamp and other
metadata.

Supported File Types
DVMP Pro plays high definition AVCHD M2TS/MTS files, HDV
(1080 and 720 line) M2T files, standard definition Sony HDD
& DVD files, MOD files, and standard
definition DV AVI files, plus Canopus DV files, Raw DV files
(.dv), DVCPRO25 and DVCAM files and displays the metadata for
all these file types*. See the Player page for more
details of these file types.
To time stamp AVCHD, HDV or DV files see the Burn-in
Metadata tool.
The Tools and their supported file types are summarised in the following tables.
Tools available from the Tools Menu
Batch Processing Tools
* May require a compatible video decoder (codec) -
see System Requirements below.
System Requirements
Playing and processing high definition AVCHD files requires a lot more more
processing power than HDV or DV files. Therefore there are 3 levels of system
requirement.
For AVCHD playback:
- 3GHz, Quad Core
- 4GB RAM
- Windows 7, Windows 8, Vista or XP
- DirectX 9
A lower spec can be used for processing AVCHD files - the operation
will just take longer to complete.
A suitable video and audio decoder
(codec) is required on your PC. See Requirements
for Playing AVCHD files for more info.

|
For DV playback and processing:
- Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 1.2GHz, or better.
- 256MB RAM
- Windows 7, Windows 8, Vista or XP
- DirectX 9

Try the DEMO version to check if your PC has the necessary
decoders, and to check its performance with your own video files before buying.
Download our 14 day demo version - this has almost all of the functionality of the
full version, but all output files are watermarked.
DVMP Pro does not install any codecs or DLLs on your system and does not change any of your system settings
- it couldn't be simpler or safer!
